Paterno’, incendio in via Cuneo: muoiono due cagnolini

incendio intorno alle 12 di oggi a Paternò. Le fiamme si sono sprigionate all’interno di un’abitazione, al primo piano, di via Cuneo. Ad intervenire subito sono stati i Vigili del Fuoco del locale distaccamento. L’incendio si è sviluppato nella cucina dove vi era anche una bombola a gas. All’interno dell’abitazione si trovavano due cagnolini di proprietà dell’unica persona anziana che occupava l’appartamento e che non sono riusciti ad uscire per mettersi in salvo. I due animali, purtroppo, sono morti. L’anziano al momento del rogo non era in casa insieme ad un terzo cagnolino e quindi sono sani e salvi. Il calore prodotto dall’incendio, anche a causa della notevole quantità di masserizie accumulate all’interno dell’abitazione, ha provocato dei danni strutturali al solaio e, per questo motivo, li pompieri hanno dichiarato inagibile il locale sino al ripristino delle originarie condizioni di stabilità. A supporto dei Vigili del Fuoco di Paternò a giungere sul posto anche i colleghi del Comando Provinciale con autobotti, autoscala e carro aria. Ad intervenire anche i Carabinieri, la Polizia Municipale e tecnici comunali per gli adempimenti di competenza.
